2 Corinthians 11:3

“But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds will be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ.”

Led Astray (phtheiro) – to destroy / to perish / deprave / when anything is damaged in the temple

Simplicity (haplotes) – singleness / not self seeking / free from pretense and hypocrisy

*Note the battle is in the mind

*Anything outside of reliance on Jesus Christ…you are being led astray by the enemy.

*The Christian life is not complicated.  It is simply focusing on what Jesus has done for us on the cross (Rom 8:2), and who we are in Him!
